From Coffee Camper to Creative Consultant: The Wild Way Evolves
Our Origin Story
It all began in a 1970s inspired retro coffee camper that hit the streets of Kansas City, Mo. The year was 2017 and there I was, a girl with a dream of making a difference through coffee. Through many early farmers’ market sunrises, long hot days and coffee-stained shirts, I was able to build that dream alongside my team of wild adventurers that included my husband, friends, and family. We had the honor of guest-starring in an Amy Poehler produced Peacock show, ranked in top 5 of KC Magazine’s Best Coffee Shops, diverted over 12 tons of coffee waste from landfills, provided accessible composting to 250 homes, navigated a global pandemic with zero layoffs, sustainably grew profits and employed over 30 people along the way.
In 2024, after difficult deliberation I decided to sell the camper, all business assets, and close up Wild Way Coffee as we knew it.

But one thing I couldn’t let go of…..the name. I knew one day, I would use “The Wild Way” again. I knew the name was a part of me and I wouldn’t let it go.
A New Chapter: Wild Way Creative
Fast forward to July 2025. I’m now living in Ontario with my sweet Canadian husband (shoutout to Jon), navigating a new country, building community, and enjoying time with our family here. While life feels far from Kansas City and my coffee days, Wild Way has never left my mind. And I’m ready to bring it back in a new form.

Business as a Creative Medium
Through running my company I realized that I am somewhat of an artist. However, my medium isn’t a canvas or clay, but rather, entrepreneurship and business. Just like an artist, I take something in my head and mold and craft it for others to see. I spend hours considering textures, colors and saturations but they look more like customer interactions, branding, event design, and systems. I love ideating the big picture down to exacting the finest details. This is what I love about business. It’s just a version of art for those who wish to see it.

For the Dreamers, the Doers, and the In-Between
I know there are many of you who have your own art works buzzing around, maybe half formed but with a fully formed desire. I know how daunting it feels to stand at the edge of that idea wanting so hard to dive right in but needing someone who has gone before you to be there on the other side. I also know the importance of having someone to help inspire new ideas and help see them through.
I have casually been offering consulting since 2020 and have seen how my guidance has been able to help my clients push off into new directions, launch their lifelong dream and grow their businesses. I now have a desire to offer these services with more breadth and depth in my offerings.
And of course, since this consulting is just another extension of me and my artwork - I’m taking the Wild Way name with me and giving it a fresh lift. So without further ado, please enjoy my next venture…..Wild Way Creative.
